πŸ“… February, 2023 πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ Germany 🟠 Demolition

A lignite fired German power station with a capacity of 352MW. Commercial operation began in 1985 and was put to an end in 2016 when the plant was moved to security stand-by (cold reserve). The station was finally decommissioned and taken off the grid end of 2020.

To be fairly honest, there isn’t much to see of this place, the boiler house is pitch black. The turbine does look really cool tho.

Turbine hall

The power plant is home to a 390MW MAN turbine.

Control room

The control room is pretty boring, featuring some monitors but with a cool looking control panel.
