📅 February, 2022 🇧🇪 Belgium 🟠 Demolition

A famous Belgium steelworks built in the 60s and decommissioned early 2011. This place has been a well known Urbex location for ages. Demolition has started early 2022 and is well advanced as of 2023 (most of the continuous casting is gone).

We’ve been two times there using an old maintenance tunnel to avoid detection. The exploration was fairly chill.

While it’s true I have a thing for power stations this place made some really nice explores. We spend many hours there wandering around the machinery and the tall structures. It’s a spot I really enjoyed for his atmosphere and immensity.
